Moments ago, Edwards took to social media to trumpet the news that the baby was born on Saturday (August 21):
“Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21 ♥️”
She also shared the first snaps of the youngster:
Edwards announced her pregnancy in May, just a week after her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock announced her own pregnancy.
Yesterday’s birth was speculated by fans, who noted that Oxlade-Chamberlain had missed a game for his club Liverpool FC for “personal reasons” – which many interpreted as Edwards being in labor. And they were right!
